IBJJF is the biggest and most important Jiu Jitsu Federation. It has the most important and respected tournaments around the globe. Last weekend Dallas was the stage of one of the most important IBJJF's tournament, the Pan American No Gi Championship. Great names of Jiu Jitsu were there testing theirselves. That was the case of Pedro Rocha, he went as a heavy weight and got the gold medal after a few exciting fights and submissions. Pedro is a very good no gi competitor, he has a background in wrestling and he is in a very important time in his career. Pedro is also part of Alliance Jiu Jitsu Team.
Alliance Jiu Jitsu team got the 2nd place in master division at the PanAms, as a school, Alliance Jiu Jitsu Dallas had 9 students competing and 9 gold medals. Coach Joao Gabriel Rocha was very proud of all the team and all the students.
- "The results showed how much the hard work we are doing is worth it. We had 9 students and 9 gold medals, this result made me so happy, it was better than being a champion myself. Seeing my students doing so good just show that we are in the right way. And we want more!"
